Plastic connectors can significantly replace welded joints. They are indispensable, especially for anodised profiles.
The steel core in the plastic connector significantly strengthens the profile connection. These connectors are used in the construction of shelf structures, stands, etc.
Connectors with and without a steel core can be combined, e.g. in the rack assembly - the upper shelf, where there is no such load, metal-core connectors may not be needed, but cheaper plastic connectors without a core can be used.
