Plastic couplings can significantly replace welded joints. They are indispensable, especially for anodized profiles.
The steel core in the plastic coupling significantly strengthens the connection of the profiles. These couplings are used in the construction of rack structures, stands, etc.
Couplings with and without a steel core can be combined, e.g. in the rack assembly - the upper shelf, where there is not so much load, metal-core connectors may not be needed, but cheaper plastic connectors without a core can be used.
